WHAT IS HOLDING YOU BACK FROM BECOMING THE PERSON WHO YOU ARE???

There are many things that hold us back from becoming who we truly are. Now I’m not going to waste any time and hit the nail straight on the head. The four factors that hold us back are Fears, Lack of Confidence, Feeling Unworthy and the Inability to Take Action.

Do you know what’s the greatest obstacle in your path to success?? Yourself. No one else. Cliché, don’t you think? That is the truth. Let me give you an example with which I was able to tackle the most difficult factor after which all others fell into place.

I watch a lot of dance choreographies on YouTube and it always amazed me as to how those dancers were able to perform the splits so easily. So, I decided to try it out but a Fear popped into my mind, what if I Cannot do it? I realized soon after that you are as unique as yourself (I’m talking like Oogway!!) So I practiced and practiced every day during the lock down until I was finally able to do a full forward split.

Next came the Doubt of showing it to people that I was also able to do it. “Should I do it?” was the only question that flowed in my mind constantly. One day I decided to take a video of myself doing the splits and surprisingly it came out well, that sure did give me A Boost Of Confidence and then I sent it to my mom, after I got the green light from her I showed it to friends and family and thus got appreciated for Taking the Initiative to do so.

Another example for this, I used to write a lot of stories in school or just to pass the time at home, one day my mom suggested that I start a blog where I can write about any kind of topic and that it becomes my personal writing space.

A Fear came here as well, what if my blog doesn’t go well? Well that fear was nullified with the thought that it is good to try new things, with a few thoughts and with the help of my mom this blog site was finally born. These are just two examples in which I had successfully tackled all four factors and achieved what i wanted to achieve.

Now, we have learned that through positivism, confidence, hard work and courage we can completely turn the tables on these factors which hold us back and break free and get the lives we've always wanted and the careers we’ve dreamed of.

This is the end of a year that nobody will forget, so what are your dreams for the New Year and what is holding you back from achieving them? Get up, start working towards your dreams and let’s all hopefully enjoy 2021!!!

It was an insightful topic. Truly all of us face this. However, there were some grammatical errors in the post. The examples you chose while also relatable, the same time wasn't relatable. Do look into how you can expand the idea (message) through many other examples. But the idea and message behind the post was very well articulated. Kudos to you, brilliant friend. Happy new year to you as well!
