VIOLENCE,THE BIGGER ISSUE???

BANG! CRASH! *sounds of glass shattering*…………*sounds of a person cursing like a psychopath*. Suddenly there is absolute silence; even a twig dared not break off. Crazy! I wonder who was causing such a ruckus, oh hello there Anger, long time no see, and my god!

you done! Really man! Can’t you leave a single soul at least in peace? I mean like you have been circling around mankind’s heads for…..well ever since basically mankind came into existence and wherever you went you have always caused Havoc or made someone go crazy and cause Havoc. Because of you, now another person comes into this story and that is Sadness. Sadness has a lot of characteristics when seen in a human being, namely; crying a lot, regretting past occurrences, sometimes when it starts to get extreme it results in a psychological problem known as Depression, which results in more Violence but this time the Violence is towards oneself, for example Scarring oneself physically, Mentally beating up oneself, constantly remembering and regretting past incidents and losses. Sometimes this also leads to Violence against others or complete ignorance towards others. Violence has been around for a long time, like a really long time so much so that it has mutated into different forms:

Ø The first and most common form of violence and that goes by the name of Domestic Violence. This type of Violence usually happens between Husband and Wife, where mostly the wife is beaten up by either a totally drunk Husband or by an extremely abusive husband, that’s the usual and normal hubbub that goes around. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen in different ways as well. Sometimes both the parents may abuse and hurt their child, that’s also a form of Domestic violence. This always leads to the kid becoming violent and overtly aggressive towards friends. That isn’t good, as a child we should live a healthy and happy lifestyle, full of fun and frolic, there should be no and I mean no violence against the child. Violence is never required to keep a child within limits. The rate of Domestic violence is 5.9 to every 100,000. This has to change, why are you against your life partner they don’t deserve such inhumane treatment!

Ø The second version is Physical Violence towards oneself or towards others, like for example beating up oneself, scarring oneself, torturing oneself through painful methods. Sometimes they may even start pushing away and even being very violent towards their friends and family. This is also extremely unhealthy and honestly psychotic, like MAAN! Get help. This sort of violence sometimes might come from depression or psychosis. Which means you literally have to hide anything and everything that can be used as a weapon or a tool to harm themselves or someone close by and that can and will definitely end horribly. So save yourselves the danger and if anyone has this sort of violence prevailing please stay away from them or find a way to get them some help…..hurry there’s no time, AAAAAAAAAAAH!…..*Sounds of bone breaking, skin tearing*

Ø Next we go deep into the mind of the human being *sounds of whooshing* here we are….wait are we in the right place? I don’t think so….oh no! This is the place where Mental violence occurs. Oh well let’s explore we might find something interesting here, so basically this sort of violence exists in the mind where due to some personal loss or hurt feelings where they mentally start beating themselves up. Hey Sadness what are you doing? Come on leave that poor soul alone, you’ve caused enough harm already! Stay put. Sadness also causes this. He has been causing a lot of trouble lately. But actually sadness is the base feeling for any other feeling. That is what baffles and interests me the most.

Ø The next one is Violence towards Idols and Stars. Like there are two ways that this happens one is through Social Media, the violence comes in the form of Tweets, Posts, Recordings, Videos and what not, all of which aim to hurt that idol or destroy their career. There is one major example. Her name was Sulli; she was part of a temporary Kpop band called F(x). She was driven by netizens to commit suicide. Even on her last call to her fans there were people commenting horrible stuff. Like that’s not fair guys can’t you leave a person to live in peace?

Ø The next is Religious Violence sometimes when people don’t like a particular community, they start attacking them based on their religion, why on earth would you want do such a thing when NATURE itself states that everyone is of the same flesh and blood, why would you want to differentiate based on what we believe in. It’s actually chilling for a person when they are reading the morning news or watching it on the TV and there is something about Religion and Violence that has been happening. There are tons of examples of wars based on religion, for example; the Sri Lankan Civil war, the Bosnian War, the Protestant-Catholic conflict in Ireland, the French Wars of Religion, the India-Pakistan war, all of which had been started by religion showing different beliefs. All this resulted in the loss of millions of innocent lives.

Ø Economic violence is a type of violence committed by individuals or groups preying on economically disadvantaged individuals. In some circumstances the individuals may be service workers such as undocumented workers and food service workers, in others they may be spouses, or closeted gays. The World Health Organization defines it as being a form of collective violence, committed by larger groups towards individuals. The term is frequently associated with, or credited to, feminist theory, who term it as a broader form of violence beyond use or threats of physical force, to include sexual, psychological and economic violence. In Argentinean law, it is defined as a form of domestic violence.

Ø Cyber bullying is the final topic which we are going to be discussing in this article; first off what is CYBER-BULLYING? It is the sometimes hostile bullying and ill treatment of a person by means of Social media. This is a very easy form of violence, it’s like you can just sit at home and bully or abuse a person. Okay, if you have a problem with that person or you had an issue with them for quite a long while, call them up, tell them to either come to your house or take them to a park and sit down and talk it out. You ABSOLUTELY DON’T NEED TO USE VIOLENCE! Like come on, be a human being not a coward, if you’re afraid to talk to a person that does not mean you get the right to use violence and be hostile towards that person. Everyone really needs to rest up.

Sometimes Violence is necessary. Like especially when people are found to breaking rules at a very crucial time and not complying with the guidelines given to protect them. A prime example for this the Covid19 Lockdown where even though people have been told to stay at home so that they don’t contract the virus, nobody even cared. Another example of grotesque violence against the ever so hardworking cops was when a group were asked for their pass they literally chopped off that man’s hand! Not even a second’s thought about what that man would go through, what his family would be going through, he does all this for us, to protect us and what do we do in return……this is extremely unacceptable. We should respect them for the service that they are doing for us when they can stay at home instead of working day and night, they choose to work.

I know that this is a long article, after choosing this topic I knew that I had to address all that I could. Types of Violence and why people use Violence. So now I hope you guys understand what Violence is, how it came into being, why it is very unhealthy and sometimes even intoxicating for a person. So guys I am always open for suggestions and articles from you guys.

PEACE OUT!!!

Hi Mahima! A soul searching deep perspective into an abysmal canker called violence that eats into the very core of the highly civilized society today.I pray that the future generation, young people like you would take cudgels and nip violence in all forms and augment the abused and expose the perpetators.
