In the now quiet rooms where dreams would take root to fly,
A teacher stands in front of the classroom, holding wisdom in their hand,
They bridge the gap where fears and doubts may flow,
Connecting all our hearts, tough topics they help us understand,
They keep it personal; the way they touch each soul is unique,
Guiding us gently yet firmly, making sure what we learn is never too oblique.
In these golden college halls, the future slowly takes its shape,
Constructive paths are paved with thoughtful care,
Where many a question blooms and old ideas find an escape,
Listen close, A teacher's voice can lift you from the clutches of despair.
They nudge you forward, piece by piece, each mind they shall refine,
For they bear learning’s light, and through that, they passionately shine.
First fears all but dissolve beneath their patient and caring gaze,
As our teachers banish doubts from our young and lively hearts,
With every lesson taught, they erase the haze,
And from the shadows of doubt, they have cleared, all our courage starts.
In their warm presence, we're not lost or made to feel small,
They lift us up when we are down; they help us stand tall.
These teachers, these pillars, they are there for us always,
If ever we are seen to be crying with our backs against the hallways,
They are there to cheer us up, to stop our tears from falling,
On days such as the Christmas Fete, when the winds of fun are calling,
They join us, walking and laughing and sharing memories in unison with us.
On this Teacher’s Day, we are here to give our heartfelt applause,
To the ones who’ve been there for us, day after day, month after month,
They’ve always got our backs, through all the highs and lows of the year,
They will show us the light, they always lead us forward.
Today we will celebrate them, with all of our hearts,
For each and every time they’ve helped us find a start.
So here’s to our teachers, who get and know what we need,
They light up our paths, they are the ones who show us how,
Their impact on us is forever and their wisdom we will forever heed,
They’re the real MVPs, there’s no doubt about that.
