LETTER FROM THE BACK BENCHERS TO THE THE FRONT BENCHERS.....

Hey dude!

Honestly, being a front bencher is great and all, like it has its perks but this is going to be a letter from our side of the classroom, which is all the way from those tiny corners where we can very happily snuggle up and sleep quietly without that Hawk eyed teacher ever noticing.

So there are many, many advantages to being a backbencher, let me tell you; it is that you can sleep very easily like I mentioned, if you are feeling a bit hungry during classes, when you are sitting in the front it’s immensely difficult to sneak a snack, one wrong move and it’s either “GET OUT" or "I never expected this from you, I thought that you would be an example for this classroom" so to save ourselves from this kind of situation we have our own tactics, being from the last bench we can easily sneak snacks into our mouths and then act like we are listening to the teacher(don’t be angry teachers, we do listen to the class, hehe).

Another thing we do is if we are bored and have nothing to do, we can with absolute ease play some super fun games, like hand-cricket, and sometimes we have paper ball fights in the back of the class, also you might say that we always laze around. But we do learn a life skill, which is a very useful skill if we need to live our lives in an easy way, and that skill is “how you handle a situation when presented with”.

Oh BTW(By The Way), like you said we do have a crystal clear view of the entire class, but that comes with a price, you see there are a few people who think that they can have the whole area to themselves then they start pushing and end result we all get squished like those onions and tomatoes in between two slices of bread which are normally called “benches”.

Another problem which we have to face is even though we are very good and we keep our notes complete and up to date, just because we sit in the last benches we are almost never in the “Good Books” of the teacher, reason being we are the so called “Back Benchers” that is we are generally considered the bad kids.

Whenever there is an amazing class going on or our chemistry teacher is performing a really cool looking experiment, you guys get a 4K Reality view and we are the ones who are stuck jumping in the back trying to get a tiny glimpse of what is going on.

This letter is supposedly to make people understand that both the front benchers and back benchers are needed for a class to be equally fun and also so that learning can become an interesting activity. We all need each other; it’s like the circle of life. Sometimes the teachers have a reason for which they might want some of us to sit in the front of the classroom, sometimes the teachers want those who aren’t able to cope up with the studies to sit right in the front so that they can keep them right under their wings and sort of protect them, also so that they can give a chance to all the others. Also like you said, a favor for a favor, please don’t tattle on us if you ever see us doing anything naughty, coz’ everyone needs to live a happy and fun life, Signing off…..
