Lockdowns changed our environments,
From fun bustling classes,
To “boring” online classes,
Or so we thought.
Online classes felt more informative,
Yet offline classes were funny,
As we could chat and snack away at the back.
Personal relations matter,
Especially that of a student and a teacher,
Although the relationship remains,
The personal touch is diminished,
Walking around the school was the best,
But it must be like a desert now,
Barren and silent,
Unlike a normal day at school,
With the hustle-bustle of children.
Two whole years have been swallowed,
We sit at home, bored out of our minds,
When in school we have fun in the learning process,
Now it feels more like a routine chore,
I have and will always feel that offline classes were the best,
These classes made so many memories,
Those years lost can never be brought back,
What we can only do now is reminisce about those days,
When we were just classes apart….

Nice poem Mahima. Keep it up.
Hey Mahima.
That was a really nice poem. I really liked the final touch😄
Yes Mahima, truly the bonding in school carries you through life, the missed two years can not be brought back but the memories can be kept alive offline or online. Nice touch to the time runaway
