Deeper than the deepest oceans,
Portraying a thousand and one emotions,
Windows to the soul, they say,
You shall find a universe hidden in each of those eyes.
Easy to look at once yet challenging to look away from,
Yes, eyes are indeed such captivating artworks,
Eyes give sight, they show us a colorful world,
It seems to be a sad truth that even with eyes, people tend to remain blind.
Standing in front of a crowd,
All I feel is intensely proud,
Of all those beautiful eyes,
Rather, the feeling of a multiverse of eyes on me.
My mother's eyes, small yet heals
My brother's eyes, it rounds and leaps,
My father's eyes, so sharp and steep,
My eyes, so imaginative and deep.
An eye is like a universe fitted into a camera,
That universe peeps through the camera and looks at the world,
Sometimes it sees bad things, sometimes, good things,
However, all these together are hidden behind two beautiful shutters,
I think it’s time for those shutters to close and for the universe to rest at last,
Don't you...?
